1841 Census

The 1841 Census for Sancreed contains a list of 1,248 people. By 2001 the population had fallen to 628. The 1841 census has been transcribed  as part of the Cornwall Census Project and shares the web page on their site with St Levan. 

1851 Census

By 1851 the  population had risen to 1,398. Once again it has been transcribed by members of the Cornwall Census Project. 

1861 Census

The 1861 Census for Sancreed contains a list of  1,233 people. This has yet to be transcribed so is presently unavailable,

1871 Census

The 1871 Census for Sancreed contains a list of 1,182. The 1871 census has been  transcribed  and is on line

The 1881 Census for Sancreed contains a list of 937 people. This census has been transcribed by members of the Church of the Latter Day Saints, and is available on line.
